A hydrogen-powered car has set a new land speed record at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats, showing just how far hydrogen combustion technology can be pushed. The JCB Hydromax achieved an average speed of 406.320 mph (653.909 kph) across two runs, making it the fastest car powered by a hydrogen internal combustion engine.
